Privacy principles

Safety questions can contain sensitive company and vessel information. Data minimisation is therefore a fixed principle in the way the service is designed.

As little data as possible

We request only the data needed to assess your question, manage the case and handle the engagement on a business basis. Unnecessary personal data and company details are not requested.

Pseudonymous case numbers

Each request receives a case number in the format ADN-2026-XXXXX. It contains no company or vessel name. This allows communication about a case without placing operational details in public URLs or page titles.

Identification only when necessary

Vessel name and ENI are recorded only when that information is required for the assessment or formal record. Where identification is not needed, the case remains as limited as possible.

Documents and case information

Documents and product-safety information are processed through the secure case environment. Share only information relevant to the engagement. Substantive case information is not passed to the payment provider as the payment description.

Privacy contact

Questions about data processing can be sent to info@schipperhuren.nl. For an existing case, preferably mention only the case number.
